FX offers a variety of LED boards with ascending functionality when used on the Luxor. The standard board is zoneable, the ZD board offers zoning and dimming, and ZDC encompasses the first two and adds color to the mix.

When a standard FX LED or ZD board is put onto a Luxor ZDC system, the board can operate only at its designed potential. Therefore, a user can assign a standard board to groups, but is unable to dim or change colors using the Luxor. Likewise, the ZD boards are zoneable and dimmable, but not color changing. Only the ZDC board is capable of performing all three functions. Conversely, if a ZDC board is placed on a ZD system, the board is placed into zones and is capable of dimming, but will display only a standard white color.
