How do you replace an FX incandescent path light socket?

Grab the riser assembly firmly with one hand while lifting the top assembly off of the o-rings with the other hand.

After the top assembly is removed, locate the lamp and socket in the center of the riser.

With a dry rag remove the lamp by pulling up.

Using a flat head screw driver, tap the socket down into the riser.

After the socket is tapped loose the socket wires can be pulled to remove.

Feed the replacement socket's wires into the riser hole and pull the socket down into place. Using a solid flat surface gently tap the socket further down if necessary.

The socket should sit flush with the risers rim.
